Wow, such a wonderful experience! Except my room was less soundproof than a paper bag, and I couldn't sleep because of children running around. Paid $6 for water? Shockingly tacky! I nearly awarded a much better review, but the lack of late check-out made it impossible to forgive. Absoluteley disappointing, indeed.

I asked for king room with the TV and a king bed, for instance and they kindly provided it. The hotel was in a remote setting in a quiet area.

I have always liked Marriot properties ; particularly, the Courtyard. If there is one available, the choice is usually a "no brainer" for me. I usually do not stray from something if it has been tried and proven.
I was in the area on business and spent much of the first day outside of the hotel so you can imagine my disappointment when I returned during a storm to a dark hotel without a generator. That was a deal breaker for me. The power returned at about 2a.m. so the evening was essentially shot. There's but so much that one can do with a flashlight. Truly disappointing!

clean room but lacks comfort
The room was impeccably clean! I appreciated the in-room amenities. The bedside charging ports were very convenient for keeping my devices powered up. The breakfast selection was surprisingly good.
The stark decor made the atmosphere feel a bit institutional.

I really liked how modern, comfortable and "chic" our room's furnishings and design were. I travel with picky people and everyone in my party appreciated it, too. Being a design person myself, I was pleasantly surprised that what I always considered to be a "business" hotel stop felt more like an upscale boutique hotel.
I didn't like the fact that we only booked two nights there. We wished we could stay longer!

The bed was very comfortable. I like the location of the hotel. It's in a quiet area and my room was also in a quiet part of the hotel
Not a huge deal but the glasses in my room had not been changed.

Family-friendly but not exactly a budget stay
The breakfast at the lobby restaurant was surprisingly good! We had delicious salads late at night, fresh and affordable, a real bonus after a long day.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the experience was acceptable.

The hotel was enchanting and clean with very-very nice staff on local manager. Magnificent, unbeatable location in Andover, short walk to the bistro, Boston, and most areas. Also, in a quiet area. Well-appointed room, exceptionally comfortable beds, good pool.

The truth you're looking for
While our stay had its clean, comfortable aspects, the stark room decor and the harsh lighting were a letdown. We faced noise disturbances late at night, which impacted our comfort. It's a mixed experience, with some areas needing serious improvement to match our expectations.

Had an awesome stay with the cozy king room sofa bed and enjoyed relaxing in the clean indoor pool after a long day. The hotel also offered a nice fitness center and a comfy lounge area to unwind in. Just a little bummer that the water in the room was priced at $6, but it didn’t really spoil my experience! 😊

The hotel was a great base for our family, with easy access to hiking trails and Canobie Lake Park. We enjoyed the clean indoor pool, and the breakfast area was fun, especially with the Starbucks coffee available to kickstart our mornings. I also appreciated the comfortable bed with my son.
My kids wished there was more soundproofing in the rooms.

We loved exploring the hiking trails nearby and visiting Merrimack College. The hotel's location made it easy to get to Canobie Lake Park for some fun. Just a heads up, make sure everything in your room is working when you check in to avoid any hassles.
We experienced some issues with the TV not working . The front desk couldn't help us since they were fully booked.
